Adobe Creek Golf Club is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed treasure located in Petaluma.  This link-style course is a par-72, measuring 5,085 yards from the front tees and 6,886 yards to the back tees. This course offers hilly fairways, five lakes, and 72 bunkers throughout this beautiful layout which will keep the golfer on his/her toes. Adobe Creek Golf Club offers a fully equipped pro shop, dining area, banquet and meeting rooms, and a driving range.  Adobe Creek Golf Club is located a short drive away from historic downtown Petaluma, wineries, and beautiful coastline of Sonoma County for visiting golfers.

General Information:

Foxtail Golf Club-North Course is located in Rohnert Park and was renovated in 2003. Gary Linn’s renovation of the par-72 consisted of adding a new drainage system, forty-five new bunkers, undulating fairways, and four tee positions. The fairways are wide and are line by beautiful redwood tree which can create trouble for the wayward tee shot. Foxtail has provided GPS system in the golf cart for the North Course, which is very helpful so you always know your yardage to the pin. Foxtail is a short drive from downtown Santa Rosa and wineries, plus the Double Tree Hotel is located adjacent to the first tee which is very convenient for the traveling golf.

Windsor Golf Club is located in the beautiful Town of Windsor and was designed by Fred Bliss. Windsor’s Par-72 classic style course was once the home of 5 Nile Tour events, so you can play a course in which the likes of John Daly and many other PGA Tour Pros have played prior to making their way to the PGA Tour. The course offers a few reachable par-4’s, a creek that traverses the course, beautiful oak trees, and a few lakes, which makes this a challenging layout that will test all levels of golfers. The four tee placements give the player many playing options from 5,036 yards from the forward tees to 6,650 yards from the pro tees. Located 10 minutes from downtown Santa Rosa, 45 minutes from San Francisco, and close to the majestic Sonoma County coastline, makes for a great location when visiting Wine County. I would put this course on your to play list!!

Fairgrounds Golf Course and learning center is located in Santa Rosa in the center of the Horse racing track. This very affordable course offers a great place to learn for the beginner and a place to hone in your short game skills for the weekend warrior. The course offers two sets of tee placements and the distances vary from 75 yards to 320 yards. If you have things to do while visiting Sonoma County but can’t shake the golf-bug, this is the place to play as you can play nine holes in less than two hours.

This par 71 layout features five sets of tees for all levels of golfers from beginner to pro. The front 9 maybe the best 9 holes between the North and South courses. The back nine has a few long and straight par 4 which can test your games. The south course is very affordable and is located a short drive from downtown Santa Rosa.
